    Sparkplug Wires , 93 XP

i had read that you can redo the ends of the spark plugs wires and this helps on some of the older skis by clipping off a little piece. Can anyone explain how to do this exactly?

If its a 93 I suggest you change them out, what's one of the things you replace when you do a tuneup on a car ???

Its a 15 year old ski.

    Brutal!!!! hahahaha.
Yes you can do that, but may want to check the wiring inside the casing. But you can unscrew the spark plug boot, cut back 1/4", then screw the spark plug boot and the spark plug wire together. I like to put some dilectic grease in there as well.

Dan, you should only tuneup a car that afterward, is worth more than the cost of the tuneup.

Shooter, good choice. If this doesn't work make a cool flower-box or towable-cooler.

Takes about 15 minutes to replace them, the wire breaks inside & causes excessive resistance & running problems, clipping the end will only be a temporary fix on that old of a ski.

Some auto parts stores have it by the roll, napa usually does. approx $6

I take the wires out of the coil & install new ones & use clear silicone to seal & prevent voltage leaks.
