    stock or worx for chop???

    as above ive been told the stock grate is better in the rough than worx bye a ex racer......is this true enough?

    I would probably think that would be true, the stock grate is much more aggressive, so it should stay hooked up better in the chop. I didnt notice too much going from the stock to the R&D tho..

    I'll have to compare stock vs riva this weekend in the pacific I guess.
    I know the riva is better for flat to mild chop since it yields more rpm & top end.

    I just looked at baba850r's profile and see he has an RPX-X... Therefore, I agree with monaroman76's assessment... but the stocker sure scrubs speed.

    sorry guys yes its a p-x but 99% or riding is in the sea......usually in heavy seas so your lucky to get 30-40mph in the camer places sumdays let alone 68+.....it would be nice having her a touch faster for the calm days although few and far between but not at the cost of good rough hook-up.

    i hated the stock grate especially for rough riding. i found that the ski would nose dive into waves when jumping in chop. i got the worx grate and love it. wouldnt consider anything else. but thats my personal opinion

    jims ridplate does a good 2mph.
