Speed (STOCK) GPR1300r Vs FXSHO Cruiser
hey GPR fans..I just purchased another ski. A new FXSHO-Cruiser. I had a 2007 GPR1300R which was a wonderful ski. It was completely stock, but ran very well with the big boys. I knew if i kept it i could of made it a rocket, but i have gotten into long distance rides, so i opted to stay with yamahas FXSHO Cruiser. I am wondering if any of you STOCK guys have raced the SHO Cruiser. I never got a chance to run one, but I am sure there is someone out there that has. Yes, my cruiser if for comfort, but like to have a comparison between the two..Thanks

Nice looking ski man! Looks classy. As far as speeds I'd say the 2 are prolly really close about 65mph give or take 1-1.5.

top speed they are very close, but your sho cruiser has better acceleration.

Seems most of the guys on stock SHO's are around 65-67...so it's a pretty close race top speed wise, but the SHO will holeshot and out accelerate the 2 stroke. I'm going by memory on the acceleration since my GPR is no longer stock and will eat my SHO's lunch off the line. BTW, nice choice in ski's...I have the same GPR and wanted the red Cruiser too, but couldn't find one at the time so I ended up with silver. Congrats on the new ride.
