    Lowes...plastic...under $100

I have one and it is pretty nice for the price.

Will be going polished Aluminum diamond plate when I add all the other diamond plate to the trailer.

I got mine from Lowe's, under 60.00. Here is my install

thats a nice thread Billy. I bumped it from like 2 years ago

I did the same thing with U-bolts. The only difference is I never saw that box at lowes so mine came from sears. It was almost double that size, but it cost $100 instead of $50. Its overkill certainly, BUT The one good thing about mine is that I can fit fishing rods inside it because its so wide.

I would recommend that if you do this install you drill holes at the bottom four corners of the box. For some reason, mine kept getting significant amounts of water inside it and my life jackets got funky as a result. the holes allow it to drain. Just a suggestion.

I just took a diamond plate box that would normally fit in the back of a pickup. Drilled holes in bottom and mounted with U-bolts. 5 years later still working great. It is just massive and can fit everything in there. It was normally 250 bucks, but it had a small dent in it from lowes. They marked it half off. Bent the dent out with a rubber mallet hammer and its good as new.
