    4Tech Chain Tensioner

Greetings guys. I have a 2004 215 engine. I need a chain tensioner for it. I see there are a few different part numbers between 2004 and 2008 in 4 tech's and then there is a Rotax Racing unit. I think the RR unit's primary advantage is that it is longer to take up chain slack with a milled head?

For racing purposes is there an advantave to using one vs the other.. IE: is the 2008 tensioner more robust than the 2004? Does it even interchange? Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Louis

the ROTAX RACING CAM chain tensioner is way longer then the 08 stock one.
if you have a stock cylinderhead, run a stock CAM chain tensioner
