    free skis with trailer purchase

SKIS ARE ON HOLD RIGHT NOW PENDING A VISIT ON SUNDAY. I WILL KNOW MORE SUNDAY AND KEEP THE THREAD UPDATED. THANKS FOR LOOKING.

    LOCATION IS EVANSVILLE, INDIANA

1996 ShoreLander Dual ski trailer with built in Cubby storage. Storage big enuff for two spare trailer tires + more. Streamlined design. Title in hand.

    Comes with:

1999 Kawasaki JH750-G2 XI Sport. 750cc. Factory cover. Title in hand
1998 Polaris SLXH. 1050cc. Title in hand.

    History:

I bought these skis and trailer last summer. The kawasaki was running, and the polaris needed a stator. I'm a single guy and was in no hurry to get the polaris running, but i did purchase the stator to fix it. I just rode the kawasaki instead. I ended up with alot less time to enjoy but rode maybe 5 times. The last time out i thought i had run out of gas. I got back home and it would not start. Did a compression check and found out it lost compression in one cylinder. So the kawasaki needs to have the top end rebuilt. The polaris needs the stator i have put in.

You could probably part these skis out and make money off this deal, i just dont have time to do anything. The trailer alone is worth this.

Also comes with 2 never worn adult life jackets, still with tags. Also one adult jacket i wore 5 times, and 1 kid jacket worn once.

    $1500, located in Southern Indiana.

I have that stoarge box on my Shorelander but I like the old steal one as well. The steal one will hold 4 fuel can easily, the plastic one is too shallow for most fuel cans.
You can also comfortably walk along the steal one and the sliding top is carpeted, the plastic isn't as user freindly due to the sloped sides and of course it's slippery.
The lock eyes on the plastic unit are easy to cut with a knife, the steal ones require quite a bit of effort, safer in my opinion.

Grit tape solves the slipperiness problem. I use it on my trailer frame top edges, so I can walk round on the wet frame without worrying about slipping.

You can buy in in many widths and lengths, even some colors other than basic black, I think.

Two great skis I wonder if the Polaris has some racing history to her due to the sticker on the bottom of the hull and just a stator to put in!

I think THE Pirate should go get that Polaris,to see if there is any hidden treasure inside. I've noticed pirates are popular these days.

I bet I'd have a good chance of finding gold with that hull up in the DJSA Nor Cal series, don't tempt me, the Kawi is just beautiful but the Polaris hull is a winner and has fun written all over her- Ah the joy of the smaller skis...those days of joy will only be know to those lucky enough to have one in the times of the whales
