Question? Oil pump block off.
I have the kit for the block off. I was wondering if The low oil switch was Normaly open ..(n/o) or closed (n/c). If it was N/O you could just cut one wire and then the float could never close the switch? If it was N/C you could just wire nut them together, then the float could never open the switch. Is this correct? I have seen some people wire tie the floats in the up position. but I wanted some thing more permanate. I don't want to be out riding one day, and have a wire tie break. I'm not sure that would happen? but It could if the moon was just right and the tide was high?

There are 2 floats in the unit, place a large tie under the floats to hold them up and fool the system in beliving that its full of oil. It will never break.
