    Adjust-A-Thrust vs R&D Cavaitation cone

    Anyone running a Adjust-A-Thrust pump cone (Yam2), just wondering if it is any good and what gains there are to be had. Or should it stick with the R&D cone.

    Never cared for the R/D cone. The AAT can be a very versitile tuning option, but must be done at the end of your mods to see any gain.

    You are better off with the stock cone, and tune from there. If you run out of things to do, THEN try the AAT, and you might be in for a pleasant surprise.

    Thanks for your reply Hydro , I find I'm faster with the R&D than with the stock cone, I had read that the stock was better so I put it back in and found I lost some speed, so I put the R&D in and the speed was back. I have done the PPK, 13/19 solas, Riva Ride plate. Just trying to make a reliable FAST ski. Trying to stay away from engine mods. I'll try everything else first. I put alot of hours a week on my ski, and want reliable rec ski. Right now I ride twice a week and it's still winter.
