Replace the pump shoe with a stock one and check the online store on this site and get your self a speedfreeks pump shoe support and a r-d intake grate girdle. todd

IT will have to be replaced.
I wonder if you could put a 08 RXP pump shoe. If so it would be much better to keep from breaking again.
IF you go with a 05 pump shoe, do as Turbo said and get a speed freeks shoe protector and an R and D Girdle.

I am pretty sure that 08 setup is much better. Shoe and ride plate but i may be wrong. I will see what # 08 RXP (non-X) shows.

I know for sure 08 ride plate has the different tabs and i think shoe is reinforced on 08.

Someone chime in that knows for sure.

Yep, this stuff is a permanent fix: http://www.spadepot.com/shop/Plast-A...t-P756C53.aspx

Take the pump off, incline the ski back a bit at an angle, and pour the mixture in the void. In 15 minutes, it'll be welded in and hard as you could imagine. I tried just about everything else before I found it.

Sounds like it would work well as a gel coat repair also - anyone try it?

Fiberglass seems to be the one thing it has had trouble bonding with. I've got 4" Flowrites on each side of the boat engine compartment (cut right through the fiberglass). I've got PVC pipes hanging down from the holes, attached with Liquid Nails adhesive. With the way I ride, I worrry about the pipes falling off, so I tried to connect using this stuff and it didn't want anything to do with bonding to fiberglass. I'd imagine wood would be the same. Bonds solid with nearly everything else, though.

West Marine's gel coat repair works great.
