Do you guys not reccomend a stand and reccommend to work with engine on flat bench.

You can't beat Harbor Frieght for great prices. I just bought a transmission jack for my Saab turbo. It's rated at 800 lbs and the transmission weighs around 80. All that for $107 and it has nice casters too... Ron

You can buy a 2 ton fold away crane for 240 and a 1 ton same type for 180.
I think the 2 ton would be best as can lift the ski up off trailer and relocate.
Anyone got a cart to sell.
1,000 lb engine stand for 60 bucks.
Pretty cheap if you ask me.

When I bought the transmission jack, it was listed on their site for $129. When I looked at it at the store it was $149, so I asked and they said that I needed to bring the printout to get the discount. When they rang it up it was $109. I guess they know know what they're doing... Ron

We usually just use a come-along and set the engine on a work bench..
You may as well invest in a sling and ski stand so you can just swing the ski you are working on off of the double trailer and onto a stand.
