    Motor Locked Up

Removed the 1200 out of the SLX, and was going to check the wash on the cylinders. I could not turn the motor over with the plugs out. Removed the heads, and the center and rear cylinder would move only about a half inch. I put a wrench on the coupler and worked the crank back and forth, until it freely turned over. Turns over just fine now. The engine was running before I took it out. What could cause this to happen? Is there something wrong with the crank?

If you did not start it up out of the water and blow it out you could have got water in that cylinder that went to the crank.

I poured transmission fluid in the case, after that. Going to drain it now. Will it be ok?

well from what i understand is that your engine was seized and you managed to break it free.... so you might have rust in it or you might have some or one bad bearing. so if you want me to lie to you then ..... everything is going to be ok... but to be truthfull i could see bad things happening in the future.
sorry to be so "glass half empty" kind of guy but this is a strong possibility.

What is the bore size of the pistons? This engine has 83.83 size pistons in it. Was wondering if it was a rebuild.
