What do I need to get the rust off Stainless-Steel and make it shine again?

I'm not sure what stainless steel you're trying to polish, but bronze works great and lasts along time. It won't rust like steel wool. It's about $1/pad in real hardware or boat stores... Ron

It is called collinites no.850 metal wax for marine use. Good for copper, aluminum, brass and stainless steel. I used it to remove rust off of stainless and it worked very good.todd
