Not sure this is any use to anyone, but in the interest of sharing knowledge and experience, here's mine: I have 2 MSX140s, and purchased the through-hull bearing and 3 seals from ebay, genuine Polaris. It cost $50, but the parts were correct. In an effort to source my own parts for the other one, and to have backups for the next time, I found a 6205 LU bearing on ebay for a few bucks, and ordered the seals from Eastern Industrial Automation, or ebearings.com. These guys have been recommended on here a few times, and their customer service is top notch.

I wanted the seals with stainless springs for service life, and was unable to source any locally, even in an industrial city like Norfolk, VA. Eastern had them in stock and they arrived in 6 days. Part numbers as follows:

    HAR 25 X 35 X 07ADL SS SPRING.
    HAR 25 X 52 X 10ADL SS SPRING.

I used the shaft removal tool IT-03 that I bought from Watcom. With the correct tools and the advice on this site its a pretty easy job.

    Good times,
    PC

Did you buy single or double lip seals for the MSX bearing carrier?
