R&D 750SL grates have 750SL embossed into the metal near the front mounting hole. The R&D 650 grate has no model markings.

The 'standard' R&D 650 intake grates have two bars running front to back. The Polaris 'OEM' version of the 650 grate has three bars behind the scoop blade (this version was stock on the Pro 785, I think).

This thread has some photos and related info.

The 2 side by side were what I thought were for the 750, but don't have 750 cast into them? They were identical. One was sold, and the other is at a buds house to be powder coated w/ a ride plate.
Pic can be found here... http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...8&postcount=46

Here is a pic of one for the 650 that I bought from Brad.

With K447's description, I don't know what in the hell I've got.
All of them were for the 650?

That would be an R&D 650 intake grate.

The 750SL grate, in addition to having 750SL embossed into the metal, and a bigger scoop in the middle, also has the long bars that run front to back become ridges that hang below the edge of the ride plate at the back end of the grate.

The '650' grate keeps these bars flush with the ride plate. You can see this in the photos I linked to earlier.

The others you linked to are three bar versions of the 650 grate, OEM'ed for Polaris from R&D.

As far as I know, the two and three bar versions have similar ride qualities. The third bar MAY help stiffen/strengthen the scoop support, but I am just guessing.

Thanks for the info K! I would have guessed the opposite because the 3 bar grates have the R&D logo on the outside so as to be seen when mounted on the ski, where as the 2 bar's R&D logo would be hidden when installed. Odd?

Hey rlovebk, good news Bro! The grate I sent ya is the more sought after 650 version. I was thinkin it was for the 750.

    Sorry for the hijack Bob.
