    gpr1200 port timing?

    i am interested if anyone knows the port timing figures for a stock gpr...i don't have my engine together yet...i need deg. ATDC until the port opens....can't find any specs anywhere...postd on pwctoday..and nobody could reply there...hope to find something here. thanks in advance.

    hey, thanks for the response..but i think 196 is the duration of port opening...i need the figure deg. ATDC until the port just cracks open. thanks alot. this site is full of info..i think i will like it alot.

    after doing some math..i believe it is 82 deg. ATDC....thanks

    Here are the specifications for the 66E/66V GP800R or GP1200R cylinder that I measured a while ago.

    90° Exhaust Port Opens Power Valves Closed
    78° Exhaust Port Opens Power Valves Open
    117.5° Transfer Ports Open
    120.5° Boost Port Opens
    181° Exhaust Duration Power Valves Closed
    205° Exhaust Duration Power Valves Open
    126.5° Transfer Duration
    120° Boost Port Duration
    27.5° Blowdown Time Power Valves Closed
    39.5° Blowdown Time Power Valves Open
