    GP1200R carb screw settings

    Does any one have the standard settings for the high and low screws on a 2003 GP1200r....... I know it will be here some place but save me some time please.

    Last year for the 1200 was 02', the 03' was 1300 with efi. If it's an 02' 1200, have the carbs been re-jetted or are they stock?

    Ah no emmision laws down in New Zealand mate so we still got carb 1200r's in 03. Stock jets and airbox....... whats your thoughts?

    But if they are stock you have tamper caps ?

    Got ya m8, sorry I don't know the settings on the stock screws and yes they have tamper proof caps that have to be removed. If you want her to run right you need to add F/A's disable the accelerator pumps and re-jet

    The stock settings are different in the export models then the ones sold here.

    O'bill is correct, the jetting was different on models overseas. They also did not have Catalytic converters on their models depending upon location.

    The 2003 GP1200R was produced but only overseas.

    The 1200R motor 66V was still in the GPR watercraft line until 2002 for the US, 2003 overseas and up to 2004 on the XLT platform

    and I thought I remember there being 3 accelerator pumps instead of 2 as well..

    Just one, but it feeds all three carbs. US models only feed #1 and #3

    whoops...that's what I meant to say... not 3 seperate pumps..
