    RXT Stereo System

    I installed a simple little stereo system last summer that uses a MP3, IPOD, or Walkman. So far it has held up to a pretty good pounding on the water. It's just a amp & waterproof speakers with a jack for MP3 plus a volume control switch & on/off power switch. I suppose you could use headphones when moving, but it works best when you are stopped. Makes the big boats take notice when we are on the beach jamming.

    Absolutly! All sleek, hidden and no extra space taken. Now if we can just play an MP3 of the Rude2 and play it while making radar runs at mudbug.

    Nice work there buddy......but if I ever installed a stereo kit on my RXP I will love to hear it really loud when riding an hauling ass on the water...is more fun that way....

    thinking...how about getting a second glove box lid and installing system in it...use it when you want...remove it when you dont want it.

    I just use the iPod headphones they work pretty good, up to about 50 mph, at which point they blow out of the ears.
    I have the iPod in a Nano otter box and throw it in the glove box, the headphones are just long enough to reach my ears when I ride standing up. Caution: in some states headphones are illegal. Here's a link:
