"Key Way" well worth the time and money!!

It took about 4 constant hours to get the job completely done. Engine in Ski. 2 hours one night, 2 the next morning, not very hard at all.

    Results:

The results are Amazing! The ski is Very quick off the line now, even quicker than before. I'm getting to 75 now very quickly.

    old Top speed
fastest up to this point was 75.3 with a 1200 grate, on the buzzer

    New TOP Speed
several runs. 1200 grate 75.8 75.8 75.9, and she was bouncing the whole time

I gained over a half a MPH and get there in half the time. I also gained about 60 RPMs that did NOT go away after heat soak.

over all I am very pleased! I need to work on handeling issues, cause there are some there! I am turning a DF 14/22 at 7280 Rpms

    I don't have the "package"

    thanks for the mod nando.

    James

Glad to hear that and BTW since you are experience in doing it, do you want to come and install mine? No use me trying since you know how.

When we first installed my key the final results were 0.6 mph gain and like you say half the time to get to top speed. My rpm gains were also around 60 when testing at the same ambient and water temperatures.

Edwin, I will be coming to Lafayette one weekend sometime after Easter. I figure if you and Steve wanna get together, we can have an installation party.

I just got done installing my keyway in my 05.
Are your engines running funny on the hose? At first the idle is normal but after I rev it up it never goes back normal. it's idleing high and sounds like all the cylinders are firing together. Sounds like it's a one cylinder.
I wouldn't be able to put it in the water tell the weekend.

Flyboy, glad you got it in. It is awesome.

Mike set your low speed to run around 1800 rpms on the hose. If your rpms do not come back down check your cables.
