Recording 0-50 times
Does anyone know of a device or a GPS system that will allow me to see my 0-50 times or 1/8 mile times? basically I would like to record my hull shot and see how fast i can reach certain speeds and or distances. So far I only know that GPS can record top speed and obviously tell me where Im at.

I need to get that phone, that thing can do everything. To bad Im with verizon. I will have to look at the ipod touch with the dyno app. might be a pretty neat thing to have.

It's pretty cool. Kind of hard to get accurate readings since the jetski has to be perfectly still for the program to say go. I've just cut the ski off until it slows down enough then fire it back up and punch it.

i have thought about this as well and something easier than that is to just use neutral if u have it on your ski to set the ipod program and yes it doesnt make it as accurate BUT if u do it the same way everytime u will at least know the improvements u do or dont make to your machine as u mod it for accelleration and speed!

If you have a gps you can set up the track log to log every 1 second. When you download the log data you can plot 0-50 times as well as 1/8 mile times.
