Through hull fitting replacement on GPR
Has anyone ever replaced a through hull fitting on a GPR ? I know there are the three screws holding it in but is there anything more to it ?

Do you mean the exhaust outlet? it's the only thing I can think of with screws

No I mean the piece just below the tunnel that the hose attaches to.

The white plastic piece on the front of the tunnel that the shaft goes through.

Yep you both have it. I have the fiberglass reinforcement and some of the 5200 bled on to it when I clamped it down. Obviously that needs to be cleaned up. Just wondering what they are using to glue it down.

I have never done this, but I would assume you would use 5200 to seal it.

If it isn't cracked and/or it isn't leaking you might be better just leaving well enough alone.

I agree with Philip... I cannot even imagine getting that off in one piece..

if someone had some detail of what it looked like under that piece, then you`d be able to cut it off, and trim/grind away for the new one to fit...
