    Electrical Help

I have a 2006 GTX 185 HP. I want to install a bilge blower to remove hot air from the engine compartment. (already have figured out where to mount blower and the routing of the exiting of the hot air.) My question is--When I plug in the lanyard to start the boat--I want the blower to come on an remain running as long as the ski is being run. Where would I tap into the MPEM (or some other source) and what color wire to tap into for this to happen. Thanks in advance for any advice.

The solid purple wire on the MPEM, or any other solid purple wire will do it!

Wire it this way, it will come on when the lanyard is plugged in....and when it is removed, the blower will still run for 10 seconds then shut off...
