    Throttle body

I used to have problems with my throttle body sticking but I could always fix it with a little lube but all the sudden i'm having a throttle sticking issue Which is kind of fun..NOT.. I took off the throttle body and it's sticking and lube won't fix it. Can I disassemble without having to hook it up to a computer to reset? Should I just send it to Shibby's dude for honing and a rebuild then call it a day? Someone twist my arm please

Yes, George is a good guy to deal with. Gains are minimal at best.

As stated,,,great guys to have do you tb bore. Doing this mod really depends on what water you ride in and what level of boost you are going to. Throttle response is better so wave jumpers this is a plus. Stock or slightly higher than stock boost pressure, flat water,,stay away from this. Velocity is your friend.

do you ride in sea??i had same type of problems on two past rxps pre 07 models.they were sticky sumtimes but in winter got worse until one day when riding the tb more or less jammed open at 5k rpm 30mins in to a ride.
pulled seat and worked her loose enough by hand to get home.
stripped tb off which is very very simple and cleaned and lubed butterfly, arm, linkages etc........done them both like this once and they never had any more sticking troubles in 3months which would have been roughly 50hrs sea riding.

seadoo has a lube kit for the throttle body. i do not know the part number..........I installed it on my rxp drill and tap the throttle body install the one way fitting and hose then lube it after every ride. (especially in salt water) works great never a stuck throttle body again.

i think it is stanard on newer skis????????
