Worth upgrading to an X model for 7K from my 155 ski?

Just to paint the picture - I have an 07' GTX 155. I really like the ski. I am a big guy 250lbs and want to have a ski for several years. I am thinking about upgrading to an RXT X and a dealer in Canada (where I live) agreed to give me a trade in + 7300.00 including all taxes and bs. Should I do it? After having the ski for 1 summer I feel like I need more power...

Other things I'm considering are... if I wait my ski will be worth less.

I am going to get $9014.00 incl taxes for my ski - is that enough?

They want $7300.00 more for a brand new RXT X... I'm just not sure!

    Need some opionions please...

I looked into it, and it doesn't end up being worth buying in the US since our dollar is down .20C vs yours Plus the rebates included they're selling it to me for $14,140.00 CDN plus taxes which isn't bad for one here. IN the Summer it was selling for $17,500.00!

I agree, buy in canada, plus i have seen where BRP will void your warranty at canadian dealerships if you buy in the usa.

IF your happy with the bottom line, do it and dont look back. If you try to find a better deal after you make the purchased, you will eventually find a better deal.

Do it and dont look back, the power from the supercharger is worth it alone: I have driven a 155 and I own a 215 RXT, the difference is a lot, if your into it. I just recently added to the stable with a RXPX, have not used an X model yet, but what I've heard, I'm looking forward to it.

The first time I went to wide open throttle on my T-X I was just plain stupefied at the acceleration. I couldn't frickin believe it. I'm used to it now but I've had all manner of hot rods from a 68 GTO (slightly modded) to sport bikes and this would clean their clocks zero to 50. Well, maybe not the bike. It's actually a proven way to lose weight........just let your passenger hang onto you and snap the throttle open from a dead stop. Takes those love handles right off!

If they are giving you $9000 for a N/A ski take it and run all the way to the bank

ya i agree that sounds like alot for a 07 NA ski, even in Canadian dollars. what could you sell it for on your own??? if they are paying that high a premium for your trade in, it makes alot fo sense, especially when the X is also being sold at a reasonable price.

9 and 7 is 16k, is 16k what they are going for in Canada?

Really, it is up to what you are happy with in the end!

9k does seem extremely reasonable for your ski!

    Good luck.
