    Here is a tech tip......

Not sure if the 03'-06' GPR has the same sound supression but here is what you have to do to get the sound supression out of an 06'. .After taking the clamp off of the waterbox side and supression box side, remove the hose that connects them. You then need to go behind the boat were the pump is and remove the 3 10mm bolts that hold the cast elbow were the exhaust exits from. You can now return to the inside of the boat and remove the supression box .This is old to some but new to others. This is a pic of the exhaust exit that needs to be removed.Im sure someone will need this info sometime.

    Wood,
Why are you removing the flotation foam?

I guess i made it sound like i wanted to move the foam only.I was aiming towards the removal of the sound supression, not the foam.

    I fixed it Mark.

Any idea what the part numbers are for the flotation foam. I can't find it anywhere.

I need the piece that goes all the way across the back.

So what exactly is the purpose of the foam anyway?? It seems more like a fire hazzard to me than anything else. I have never had mine in and my boat still floats, and if your going to sink your boat--i don't think that the amount of foam in out boats is going to keep it up.

I've thrown the foam off of all the skis...if it ain't performance needed, it's gone. I believe the inner hull has enough air to help if there were a Titanic experience. Dunno.
