Have a look at what I discovered while swapping heads last night.... This has been this way for 40+ hours of use. I would imagine this took place before I rebuilt the carbs, and couldn't get the mixture dialed in correctly... I remember changing the plugs, and finding the ground electrode completely gone... At the time I figured it was just a faulty plug, and replaced them, and went about my business. Amazingly enough, there was NO damage to the bottom end of the engine. The sleeve is barely scratched... I intend to replace both sleeves, and pistons....
Now, to decide what I want to do... Big bore, Stock, 1mm over?
