RXP-X/RXT-X Owners! How is the Reliability of Your New Skis?

Can I get some feedback on the reliability of the new X- Skis? I have sold my 2008 GP1300, and I'm looking at the RXP-X. Thanks for all info...

The only issues I've read about are all related to the pump inlet tunnel and cracking/delamination. Most have not experienced this issue, and it's probably pretty isolated. I have thoroughly enjoyed my lightly modded P-X and have had no issues at all. I bought it in March and have one riding season on it.

Ive got 45 hours on T-X with the only issue is the hood strut breaking. No issues with anything else.
There can be some issues with intercooler hoses and exhaust stinger hoses poping off.
If you have a X setup you just need to upgrade clamps to T bolts on those hoses and you want have any issues.

My father's T-X has about 25 hours on it, not 1 issue...The mods are listed and done here...

    http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=68048

His best run to date was a 72.5 @ 8020rpm...

He plans to toss in a set of RE's, mabe a prop...I'm trying to convince him to do a relocation kit and go thru hull

I put 65 hard hours on my P-X this year (Supercourse racing) and only minor issues. Exhaust hose popped off at 4 hours. Installing T-clamps fixed that issue. Hood strut broke (seems like a common problem). Bought a strut from Napa which fixed that issue. No other problems at all.

I'm at 29 hours on my T-X and no issues to speak of. Well, there was that time when I got on the outside of an RXT's wake in a hard left hander and got pushed (surfed?)into a rat's nest of dead trees on the bank of the creek but..............uh........what were we talking about?

Franko, if you don't mind, what was the strut part # / brandname?

Other than that, no problems at all. Ski is a blast...no regrets other than seeing it in storage at the moment cause it's winter here in TN.

80hrs and no problem besides the ones mentioned. hoses popping, cracking gelcoat in tunnel.

if modding prepare to be doing the head gasket with copper spray.this can be read in another thrread but this problem occurs when ecu greater than 8400rpm.

oh and washers in the supercharger were slipping at 80hrs so they are now replaced.
