    Light weight flyweel ?

Would switching to a lighter flywheel require a jet change on the lows? Spools up faster, need more fuel on low end?

    By the way

Who carries these? Or do you just turn material off yourself. Balancing an issue?

Gonna say no. Just gets up to RPM faster with less load on the front bearing.

rlovebk, there are a few brands out there that made lightweight flywheels.

MSD Total Loss for all out racing. (doesn't recharge battery)
    Jetinetics
Accel (which is a Jetinetics, just diff color)
    RAD

They were quite expensive back then, around $500 retail. Now if you can find one, it's around $100 or so.

They really add to accel and faster revving. Stock 650,750,780 flywheel weighs around 5 lbs. An aluminum one weighs around 3 lbs. Less mass to get spinning from a stop.

Star, I know why you ask. That guy has some nice parts if I remember correctly.....
