    R&D power sleeve+D plate

    Anyone ever tried the R&D power sleeve? Just wondering how it would work with a D plate......

    No I was investigating it to find out if was worthwhile, from what I gathered no one really had any good info on it.

    I wonder if this is an avenue to try on the larger displacement motors. The last I remember seeing testing was when somebody tried it on a 1300cc. maybe the 1400's and 1500's show results......not sure..maybe worth investigating

    I agree Billie,i think the smaller diameter at the stinger will pushing more of the overlapping fuel that gets sent out through the exhaust port when the fresh charge enters on the down stroke.JMO,i think top end will gain but suffer on bottom/ecceleration.The R&D sleeve was designed for the non-pv motors.

    we did same thing on the old non P/V motor ,we would install 1100 pipe that had smaller stinger diameter and 100 or more rpm's BUT at the cost of greater chance on detonation
    group K had a paper on it

    R&d power sleeve on p.v. Motor

    has anyone tried the powe sleeve on a p.v. 1300 with a jetworks plate?is the i.d. On the sleeve smaller than 155 mm?
