    Question 12/15f timing rotor advance?

Hey guys, I just read the ultra/12,15f timing rotor mod and I am thinking about doing it but I have a few questions.

I'm guessing that I will be one of the first people to do this as the mod was posted on dec 6th. what type of gains would I be looking at with a mostly stock 12f? also would I have to run higher octane gas or would pump gas work? finally is there much chance of me blowing up my jetski? because that would be a bid no no.

    thanks

    Sean

a timing rotor mod like the 250x guys are doing or the ADA kit? The ADA kit mainly yields acceleration and light cost a little bit on top end, thats why most 15F/12F guys dont do this mod.

Well considering the cost of the ADA kit vs modding the stock kawi rotor at 13 bucks I'm leaning towards the modded stock kawi. All the results point to this being a no loss mod but there Isn't really such a thing so I'm just trying to dig a little deeper.

Ok, so here is the results, I am turning 2 more bars over normal and it feels like more grunt, worth noting I AM RUNNING 93 OCTANE*** this is to stave off any sign of detonation. I will post GPS numbers next weekend when I get access to a unit.

I've seen a few 12F with cracked pistons.

Because of advanced timing or just in general? I'm a bit confused by that...
It seemed to run great no pinging or odd noises just ran good like normal, with the extra RPMS.

I ran the 5 degree advance for over 130 hrs with no issues. I didn't gain any top speed with it. Accel is hard to quantify, but I don't think it gained much if anything.
