    08 rxpx upgrading

I am looking at up grading my 08 rxpx it is stock now. I am looking at spending around $2500. I was looking at getting the riva stage 1 kit which is $1100 and was just wondering what people reccomended to get with that.

i think the first and most important is a 4'' cold air intake. after that um prop and nozzle and intake grate.
    just my thoughts

and here the gauges that most of us on here use.

Get a Dynotune digital boost gauge. I have it mounted in my mirror and it looks great. Get the X-charger upgrade with the rest of your cash. If you get that you will need to get either 50LBS. injectors or the RRFPR.

    Hi,
firstly a good portable gps to see your first speed and compare the others.
Than according to me (i have a rxpx) not a stage 1 riva...it is restricitve...
We need to know where do you use it..lave or sea...

    1-air intake 4 "kanaflex front
    2-a good grate
3-a good repitched prop (4 blade or a 3 blade)
    4-a good nozzle

Now if you follow the right repitcher you can have 75 mph...
According to me now is impotant the handling...the racers at the end of a bad race say always not they haven't enogh hp but enogh hook up....SO it is important the Handling!!!!
    SO
5-good pair of sponson(the best one are HSE SPONSON call POOCHE) or a 6-opass block off if you are in rogh water(opt.)
According to me this is better than a riva stage 1, you have the warranty ok.
7-riva 2 degree pump wedge if you are in lake...

    NOW 78 mph....

I don't belive in extra intercooler...beacuse with rhe external one you can go quite well (if you don't live in an hot pleace).
Now if you want you can upgrade your engine but yu loose warranty.
The first thing is to change sc impeller....than you can change ecu...but than there are a lot of linked things to change...
The easier thing to do is a
8-modified rideplate in the store...gain 2 mph....if you are lucky you can reach 80 mph in the lake....with warranty!!!!
I hope i can be usefull to you

I wouldn't do the rideplate on a RXPX. If you have 2500.00 to spent and you are doing all the work. You need to give us a speed you want to go. You would be better off buying the parts that really do something for performance.

Intake grate. R&D or RIVA, I perfer R&D.
4" DIY front air intake system.
    Catch Can. RIVA or DIY
    83MM nozzle.
A Solas SRX-CD15/20-15/22 prop. Trued and pitched to a 14/22.
    Wedge. 2.0RIVA or 2.5R&D
    RIVA RXPX intake mod kit.
You will be over 76.0mph, if the parts are installed right and prop is right. You can get most your parts right here on the GH store.

Now if you want more! 2Rude charger, 50lb injectors, RRFPR. Speed 78-80mph on stock ECU. Repitch prop, add RIVA reduction nozzle kit for tuning.

check out jp1300r signiture for mods to get to 80mph.
    Looks good to me.

Dont be fooled, to run 80 mph on stock ecu is no easy task, and they say running 80 mph on RXP-X can be DANGEROUS to your heath.

    THis is 2rude

A 2RUDE is an upgraded SCer. You can pretty much forget about your warranty at this stage.

Skoepp, Is right, its not easy to get to 80mph. The last mph or two depends on the rider. EX. Last weekend, Me=79.4, Next rider= 79.2, Next rider= 78.4, Next rider=77.5., Me back on it 79.6mph.
