All of you with gutted airboxes
Can you guys reach the low carb screws without removing the airbox?

Don't even try to not remove the airbox and take out the bolts!!! This piece of advise will save you a lot of frustration. Assuming you have the stinger and u-pipe out of the exhaust.
Simply remove the two main bolts on the far ends of the airbox, loosen the throttle body clamps closest to the motor, unhook a cable tie or two, remove one or two electrical connections, and wiggle the box until you feel it come free. Then rotate the entire box up and onto the top of the cylinder heads and remove the back panel, flame arrestors, etc.

I'm putting together a jump ski for the inlet (everything is out of the ski at the moment)...trying to do it on a tight budget...thinking of running a gutted airbox instead of AM FA's to save a little dough...but need to be able to get to the screws on the carbs...

Sorry Drew... I misread your original question. Good Luck

No dude you cant. I run a gutted airbox (only) with a stinger3 and relocated electrics and battery and I cant get to em.
Unless you have hands and forearms of a 2yr old girl then you might stand a chance

I know I have to remove my rear 2 Riva FA's on my one ski to reach the lows....this is with relocated electrics/battery and stock pipe...but I'm standing on my head in the hull. Didn't know if by some odd chance the stock box left a gap somewhere to fit an arm in...
