    Identify this part

I was looking at my pics and noticed what looks like a bolt in the bottom of case under crank in the oil galley. If you zoom in, you can see what appears to be a bolt sitting upward.
I did not loose any bolts that i know of in disisembly, so what is this part?????

Not supposed to be there. But where it is supposed to be, that's for you to decide.

Yeah, it kind of looks like the screw used to install the Rotax IC bracket into the hull.

If i have to remove the fly wheel I will.
Thats if i can not get i out otherwise.

I was trying to remove stock oil jet with dent puller but dont remember loosing screw.

I know its not at stock fly wheel bolt as i got all those on bench.

Maybe its a spare part, a little leftover from the assembly line

When you took the picture, all of the flywheel bolts were out and there's a paper towel in there too. The '03 engines had a drain plug near there, but '04s and later don't. Are you sure that one of the flywheel bolts didn't get caught up in the paper towel and pulled out when you took the towel out?... Ron
