How to gain some speed on 155 Rxp
Hi, ı just registered in your internetsite now and ı want to ask you some questions ı have a 155 version Rxp and just want it to go a little bit faster, and accelerate better.
which is the best impeller brand? and which model do you advice me?
what about pump wedge? is it also for 215's or does it effect mine?
and removing opas? what is the good and bad sides of it?
if ı change my impeller do ı need to change my intake grate? if it will make me go faster ı also want to change it. which brand is the best intake grate and do ı need to look for intake grate and impeller together?
also what are the other parts to go fast?

I would recommend that you go with an impeller and grate to start and maybe a air intake upgrade. You'll notice a big improvement with those three mods.
Remember code "Greenhulk" get's you 10% off Riva and R&D items

Welcome to the forum
Try searching 155 hp skis and you should find a few threads on your ski.
There is also a kit in the store for 155 hp ski. It shows is for a GTX but I am pretty sure will work on your ski.

good to see you found us!
i dont think the OPAS parts in the kit will work on your RXP, its a different type of OPAS sysytem from the GTX hull.
you need blockoff kit.
also the solas 11/19 will be better than stock, it is a 4blade impeller.
but there is probably a 3 blade SKAT TRAC impeller that will be better for acceleration than the solas 4 blade.

i just looked up the SKAT TRAC website
for your ski , which has the 155.8mm pump
they recommend a
15/20 155-83-23 Swirl
16/21 155-83-23 Swirl
now if you get either of theses impellers, you might still need to adjust the pitch to fine tune for maximum performance. you would do that after you get all your modifications done, and then fine tune to get your RPM's up to peak performance.
if you dont know how to pitch an impeller , make sure you know a mechanic that can do it for you, it owuld be expensive to ship the impeller back and forth to america for a repitch.

what is your current max speed and max rpm's???
does your ski cavitate when you accelerate from idle speed??
do you have a GPS so you can get accurate max speed readings?
