Got a problem with the EFI, FIXED! Update.

We put together Lightnin' with the '03 EFI motor in it..the pipes are'nt in so I was checking for spark, pv cycling just everything that needs to work. I got spark but the ski won't crank, it turns over fine. Check the power going to fuel pump..ok. Checked power going to fuel injectors..ok. I've had WFO trying to help me, he was the one who found the lack of spark. The water temp sensor was not plugged in.

Anyway..we ain't getting no crankage guys and everything seems to have power. I am wondering since the tank sat for 10 months that fuel pump might be frozen up?

WHat does the hive mind think? Suggestions are welcome..I know it's simple. but the EFI's are little different as you know. Went through the manual like Grant through Atlanta...need some help.

I've got to find the gremlin today, I want this ski out of the garage.

Fuel injectors were clogged! Thanks to Rich and Chip for all the suggestions...I let them sit in a glass of carb cleaner, re-installed them the fuel began to squirt. Did you guys know you have about 45lbs. of fuel pressure on the efi? Dude. Also WFO's suggestion fo getting an noid tester for an older GM worked wonders.

what about the actual sender from the tank itself? I was thinking about that since it sat for so long.

another reason that i ask this is because it sounds like its rolling over (but not actually starting) - so my first thought would be fuel starvation.

Yeah...gonna check the sender/fuel pump today. I don't think fuel is getting through the fi. The tank has been inactive for 10 months..I put the fresh fuel in so I know it's got some gogo juice. I check the pump and get back to ya'll...anymore suggestions would be great.

if it is a bad pump the ECM will set a code. Check for codes.
