Please read this extremely important
TWO SUBJECT LINES TO BEWARE OF :
Just verified this with Snopes and it is REAL. ALSO WENT TO TRUTH OR FICTION, IT'S on their site also.
PLEASE INFORM EVERYONE you know.
Emails with pictures of Osama Bin-Laden hanged are being sent, and the moment that you open these emails your computer will crash and you will not be able to fix it.
1.) If you get an e-mail along the lines of 'Osama Bin Laden Captured' or 'Osama Hanged' , don't open the email OR the Attachment!!!!
This e-mail is being distributed through countries around the globe, but mainly in the US and Israel .
Be considerate & send this warning to whomever you know.
PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS:
2) You should also be alert during the next few days of a 2nd different email:
Do not open any message with an attached file called 'Invitation' regardless of who sent it.
It is a virus that opens an Olympic Torch which 'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer!!!!
This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list, that is why you should send this E-Mail to all your contacts.
It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it.
If you receive e-mail called 'invitation', even though sent by a friend, Do not open it!!! Shut down your computer immediately!!!!
This is the worst virus announced by CNN, it has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever.
This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus.
This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where ALL of the vital information is kept.

From the Snopes web site
Virus: "Osama bin Laden Captured" and "Osama bin Laden Hanged"
Status: Real, but outdated
Virus: Invitation (aka Olympic Torch, aka Merry Christmas)
There are many, many nasty emails, trojans, viruses, hacks, spam, phishing and other attacks circulating the Internet, and new ones appear every day. It is not effective to highlight one or two (whether current or old news), and consume Inboxes or message boards with information or cautionary advice.
The Internet is a highly infected, contagious environment. Create and maintain a safe computing practice for yourself, and you need not worry about the 'attack of the day'. Between your ISP, your Anti-virus and anti-malware software, your Internet gateway router, and your firewall, you should be OK.
Keep your Windows updated. Use the automatic Windows updates, for sure, but also use the manual Windows Update (in your Start menu) and choose the 'Custom' update process to find additional updates that Microsoft has provided for your version of Windows.
Of course, if you choose to visit those web sites that harbour the most potent Internet nastiness, and especially if you click on links that provide permission for that stuff to get inside your computer, then it will have its way with your machine.
Be particularly aware of social hacking, that depends on you clicking on bogus links in emails or web sites. When you hover over a link or button in an email, look at the actual URL that appears in the status bar. If it is different from what it is should be, don't click that link!
This season, for example, I have deleted dozens of emails with the Subject line of 'Your Order' - all spam, of course. I would never click on the links in those messages, not even the 'take me off your list' links. There are ALL bogus traps. Just delete the message.
