A quiet waterbox?
I would surely love to find a quiet waterbox... Without killing performance. I know I am asking too much. I just said it would be nice! So is there anything I can do to this 760 to shut it the F up? I made the mistake of cutting the little triangle rubber pieces off at the exhaust outlet.. It makes this horrible droning sound now. Anybody know where I can buy one of those new?

I dont know anything about yamahas but on seadoos, we drill out the pisser in the j pipe to let more water in. that quiets it down quite a bit.

Be very careful of more water in a 2 stroke exhaust.....It will hurt performance.
I am with you on the quiet side of things. One of the things you can do is have your WB sprayed with Linex or Rhino for truck beds. That will help a little. Other thing is some soundproofing under the storage bins and seat.
If my XLT1200 was quieter I am sure my wife would of enjoyed it more.

That I dont know. We do it on RXPs which are obviously not two stroke. Ive never done a waterbox on a 2-stroke ski..
Maybe you can ad a valve so that you can tighten it or loosen it and let more or less water in. I dont know what your setup looks like. Im a seadoo guy. Sorry. Just tryin to help

I took mine off also. RIVA sells them. Go look at the OEM parts finder.

Yeah, I don't remember having a problem with the sound until I took that rubber valve piece off. I'll start with that. You wouldn't think so, but that thing makes a big difference.
