    head compression, keyway..?

i've got r & d heads at around 155-160 psi and running 93 octane..just want to know if its safe to get the keyway at a 3 degree timing? If not, any other suggestions? would i get an increase in speed if i change the heads and install keyway? any info will help..

How does the key way work on the 1200 with an advent? Do you even need it?

With the advent do it right and get the ignition curves reprogramed... $75 last time i checked and since the advent holds 4 different curves switching back and forth is almost as easy as flicking a switch.

I'm running heads and a keyway with no problems.

David, just run 93 and nothing lower just in case - you should be fine. You do have to go to 93 with the increase in timing with or without an increase in compression. Found that out today!!

What curves do you need? I have Yam-59, 83, 84, 94.. Should I get it reprogrammed or get a keyway?
