    Checking hours

Im a new to the whole jet ski thing. I just bought a 1998 GP1200 with a shot motor and was wondering if there is any way to check the hours on the ski. I can get the display to come on and ask for the code to start and thats as far as it will go then the display will turn off after a while.

Ive found out how to do it for the GP1200. Disconnect the single blue wire connector, then hold the mode, A, and C button down at the same time. It will run through water, temp, hours, miles, clock, etc. To cancel push any button then reconnect the single blue wire connector and your done.
