    LOW RPMs

    MY ski wont rev past 6200.IT was fine for an hour and a half,just opened the throttle up and it reved 6200,it was reving 8120, i got no boost leaks,props fine,liner ok,starts ok runs ok just wont rev past 6200,plugs ok any ideas ......ski has had washers changed and its done 64 hrs

    SC Clutch failure

    Are you using ceramic washers on youre charger ?

    got metal washers, thanks

    Def sounds like s/c failure.. check to see if u can free spin the s/c impeller..

    Take off the output hose and see if you can spin the impeller with your fingers. Can you still hear the SC whine?... Ron

    ive taken off the hose but cant reach inside enough or am i doing something wrong

    I guess you have taken of the wrong hose. It's the one in center (biggest one) you need to remove. As long as your fingers aren't shorter the 1", you should reach in

    ye ive taken the air intake one off and the fan is easily spun,.......why would this fail

    If it spins freely, then you have a sc failure... Why? You won't know until you get it of and inspects it. My guess is that the nut has come of... Or it wasn't tightened enough, and the cluth is worn out.

    I'm not a sc guy, it's all turbo with me

    But I'm sure there are lots og sc guyes here that can chim in...

    But if it spinns freely, you'll need to get it off, no mather what!
