    Anyone tried Fasstco Flexx bars?

    http://www.fasstco.com/products/flexx.shtml

I am thinking about buying these for my GP. I bent my UMI's and am in need of a new set of handlebars. These are expensive, but look to be made well. I use my ski for recreational riding, and mostly jumping.

Just wondering if anyone has tried them. The base is 1-1/8", so I'll have to use an adapter. I use an adapter for a thicker bar on my blaster, it's actually nice, brings the bars up a little.

My buddy tried them for motocross as a demo and didnt like them. Couldnt feel the track and they would loosen over time. Final word was junk then went back to pro taper.
I felt them on his bike after a season of riding and they felt like they were going to fall apart.
Cant speak for watercraft purchase but this in deed turned me away.

I could see that being an issue with a big fork on the front end. However they sell firm bushings, I was just thinking it would be nice to cushion the landing.

My poor UMIs look like a viagra before and after commercial.

PWCOFFSHORE.com along with PWI did some offshore testing of these bars last year. I'll have to try and dig up the article. Basically we as offshore riders somewhat liked the bars. It was VERY strange at first, as you get that feeling like the bars are breaking. I didnt care for them the first several minutes of trying them out.
However, the longer I rode them the better they felt. I switched out the bushing to a stiffer bushing, then rode again, and liked them even more.
For "offshore" ocean riding, this could cause less fatigue for the rider, which is a big plus. The only thing we didnt like, is the hardware is all zinc, IF they would make some that was stainless, we may be all over it. But Zinc hardware, and saltwater/fresh water does not mixx!

Thanks for the heads up. I had planned on going with the stiffest bushings if I try them. They are alot of cash though, it will be a game time decision.

I'll search around for the article though.
