What the hell is this called, and...

how the hell you get it out? All the bolts are out. I'm guessing it's the sealant holding it?

That is the pump shoe and I believe it is sealed to the hull with generous amounts of 3M 5200. I know Reid used a chain and a come along to remove his but that wound up damaging it, so I'm not real sure of a safe removal technique

    Hey thanks guys.

Yeah, there is a hell of a lot of sealant in there. I'm just going to take my time to deal with it. This plastic one looks like a pile of crap tho. Anyone make an aluminum replacment?

If not, i guess i'll have to make one.

why are you removing it?? if its not damaged or leaking air, aka cavitating, then if its just to refinish the hull, work around it???
they are hard to remove, real hard, and almost every time they are removed they break. and its only done cuz its fubar or leaking air...
    just curious.
