    Question Thru Hull Exhaust

On the stock exhaust near the end of the exit there is a hose that connects, a water jacket I suspect. Now how does that water jaket hose connect onto the thru hull exhaust? Its not long enough to connect.

It depends on what through hull set-up you are running. IF the set-up you are running does not have a place to hook the line up to then you can just remove the hose and block it off. You dont need it.

What set- up are you running?

Just to confirm, does the line you are talking about come from a T under the J-pipe?

I'm running riva thru hull with riva waterbox. The hose is on the back side of the motor. It hooked on the stock exhaust near the end of the run. Right before the 90 degree turn out of the hull

The riva water box has a fitting to hook that up to on the exit pipe. I dont understand why it would'nt be long enough though because now it doesnt have to go to the other side of the ski.

That hose hooks up to the gold barb fitting on the pipe coming off the waterbox going to the exit:

The hose looks like it is on the port side or rear of the motor or am I wrong? I understand it goes to the waterbox. It is still short. Where is it connected to on the motor?

Its connected to the bottom of the J-Pipe...If you look there is a T fitting in line..It comes off that..You may have to pull it out from under the motor and re-route it to your new waterbox...IF it is still to short then you will have to get a longer one from the part store...
