    Stock 06 GPR Hitting 70.2 mph!!!!!

    06 GPR with Riva Rideplate, Dyna-fly and PPK........I gotta tell ya......I'm shocked too. Several 70.2 mph runs on this pretty much stock 06 GPR it appears..........Here's the link.........

    Those are good speeds! BUT the average is lower then 70mph. He even makes that clear. Just so people know!

    Either way that hot for what he's done. I am interested in what "pump mods" means! He hints but doesn't tell

    I wouldnt say its "Stock"... I'm sure it appears stock but alot of ski's do. Good speed though!

    Yeah - people sure use "stock" to describe a lot of things that AREN'T.

    That really isn't anything special, IMO. It's good speed - nothing wrong with the ski, thats for sure Prop, Ride plate, PPK, fresh water?

    I have an 05 and had the same prop, ppk /w OE ride plate, but I had a d-plate. running 67.8 in salt water, heat soaked in 90 degree+ air. If I test with my ride plate, I have a feeling I will be close to 70.

    Is it good speed? yes. Is it above average? Maybe a hair. Is it extraordinary? no.

    Good speed. I hope to do the same with my new '06 1300. I'm at 68-69mph with just a Riva plate from Jim in 70 degree air.
    My prop should be here next week and I'm going for 70mph without touching the engine.
