    What are the minimum mods that can be done and effectively spin a 14/20 DF

    What is the minimum you can do and still spin a 14/20 dynafly well? Anyone ever get one depitched to 14/19... I saw a lot of 14/20 and 13/19 but no 14/19. Would a 14/19 be any good?

    I would think min would be,

    D-plate.
    air mods.
    Free flow.
    efi controller.

    And some more compression to 150 psi should do the trick!

    +1 on the more comp with above extras but then while your at it you might as well add vf3's

    The stock prop is awful good untill you get to 72 miles per hour.

    On my '06 when it was stock motor, and just had grate and rideplate, I put a dynafly 14/20 on it. It would turn it but was below the powerband about 6850 and was lazy but did run better on top.

    I added d-plate, EFI controller, and ran open air box and it woke it up turned 7050 and went 72mph+

    I would say that is the least mods to run a 14/20. Another cheap mod would be a keyway to add 50rpm+

    I've heard not to depitch a dynafly 14/20 prop.
