    Carbon Fiber GP build

First and foremost I must give credit to Tom aka Superramjet his build of this ski: http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=22792

The boat is in great shape for being a 10 year old ski BUT for also being an ex race boat the ski is in unbelievable shape.

Currently the ski starts and runs but very poorly.

This build is for myself to act as a diary of the ski but also for everyone else to watch the progress and if I start slacking I know everyone will give me a hard time to start working on it.

    Jon,
How is that gas tank secured in the hull???? Is that one fuel line not completely attached at the fuel filter???? If you get it running strong and feel you need a different impeller let me know. I've got at least 6 SkatTrak Swirl impellers of all different pitch combos you can try. I sold Tom the pump that's in the boat....but not with an impeller. I don't know what he put in there. Is your boat running a stock ignition or aftermarket???? Did Tom put a ported cylinder on the short block???? It's good to see that boat getting closer to running all the time. I've been following that particular boat for about 8yrs or so. It has changed hands at least 4-5 times since it was new.....had several different engines in it over the years. Get it dialed in and out on the water!!!!!

I've got some older pics of it I'll try to find and forward them to you.

    Mike,

The tank is not secured at all and I was going to ask you how yours was attached.

Yes that line is coming off the filter as of right now just because I removed the carbs and kinda pulled at it. I would like to do a triple fuel pickup anyways but it will get new filters before it hits the water.

Thanks for letting me know about the props. I have no idea whats pitch is being used right now as I still need to pull the pump.

Right now it has a stock 65U CDI but also came with a Riva CDI Rev A box that I will not hook up till I dial in the current setup.

The motor/cases are not ported. Once I get the carbs dialed in and also make sure there are no other bugs in the system then it will be getting ported.

I need to get this ski registered before it hits the water.
