Riva Intake Grate RXT
My boat cavitates out of the hole.I have 125 hrs.I wonder if I should replace my pump liner or buy a Riva Toploader Intake Grate to fix the problem.Im not sure if I need a new liner or not.Its not easy to see up inside there.

If you have 125 hours on the original wear ring, you have been loosing performance for about 100 hours. It's not to bad to do if you have basic hand tools, the impeller wrench and a allen wrench. Look in the Sea Doo FAQ section on how to change the wear ring; you can buy replacement wear rings in the online store. If you haven't already changed out the ceramic SC clutch disks, you should do that ASAP or risk major engine damage... Ron

Check your wear ring and prop, you could of sucked up some rocks and not known about it.

IF you're on the OEM 'liner' (I hope you're referring to the Wear-Ring in the pump) with 125 hours...
THAT'S your FIRST problem...

IF you got 125 hours without any prop or pump maintance, then you need some maintance. It will help your cavitation problem and you probably need a new wear ring and the prop needs a look over. There is some good info on prop and wear rings here.
With 125 hours your carbon seal is worn and can be causing cavitation.

I would do both the pump liner, intake grate and a pump wedge.If you dont do the wedge the nose will be plowing down at idle. The grate diggs, but you'll notice a ton of performance gain with these 2 mods and 1 mantaince item

How do I check the alignment of the engine and pump shoe?I never knew a pump had shoes .The engine was removed recently by the dealer to fix an oil leak which was their fault from when they replaced my engine.
