Did you get the 1 1/8" bars instead of the 7/8" ?

If so you just need the adapter "blocks".

I am putting PT's on my Blasters, just not sure which bend yet.

7/8" dia. should just bolt right on. I know my UMI did. You may have to file a pin or drill a hole or something for one of the controls. I think it was for a locating pin. It's been a while since I did mine.

I am getting some PT's for the GF's Blaster sometime soon, so then I could tell you what is what for sure. Thing is how soon is soon....?

i have a gp1200. I think it has the same steering as a blaster 2. I say that cause I have a UMI steering that fits Gp1200/blaster 2. I am using the protaper se bars. They are the atv mid bars. They are 7/8". Fit perfect.

That will work. I myself like the cross bar style.

Post pics and let us know which ones you get.

BTW, there is a seller on Ebay that has great deals. EMail him and he will set up a package for you with just what you want.

I am getting the SE bars (not sure which bend yet) in 1 1/8" and the package will include the adapter blocks and all.

Here is one of his packages just so you can get an idea.

Most people seem to prefer the base pad. Safer when being ejected in the surf is what I have read.

Myself, no worries there, as this old man rides "easy" compared to these lunatics.
