    Car parts

Wow I thought that it was risky sometime buying waverunner parts on ebay.

Well I just bought struts and they sent me 2 different struts one is 2" longer than the other.

From someone else I bought 2 shocks and one of them has 1/2 the dampening effect of the other.

Is this normall practice for car parts or what.

Let see what they have to say

I have been so pissed off that I punched a metal door and broke my hand.
    What an idiot i am.
Long story involving roommate and UPS.
My hand hurts like a s.o.b.
Also ordered a crank spacer a few weeks ago that never showed up.
Stress level is through the roof I left knuckle marks in the door.

I wouldn't say it's really common..you have to know yoru stuff and pretty much need the thought of "buyer beware" in the back of your head. I've gotten quite a few parts off of ebay and had great success. You just need to see the pictures and ask a lot of questions and look at the feedback rating.

    Struts were in sealed boxes.
Boxes had the same part #.
    Struts had dif part #'s

Not his fault he is sending another.

Have just heard back from the shock seller.

    Hi Scott,

I am sorry that what we had sent was obviously a bad shock. We would be happy to send you a replacement set free of charge today. There is no need to return the bad one.

Our shippers normally open and test each set of shocks that we ship - we do our best to weed out any potential problems. I realize that this was not done with your shipment and apologize for that. Our shippers are usually very conscientious about this because they know how important it is to identify problems before an item is shipped.

Once again my apologies for the problem.

    Lisa

Hope I get a good one this time.

    SCOTT..........
