yamaha 1131cc non-pv help please
well, I may be haveing a major issue with the 1131cc in the wifes SUV..
it just cut out completely today and would not start again
compression across the three was 105 - 110 - 105 is that low for this motor???
it seams to be not enough to run.. but its weird that all three are within 5 pounds..

it should run with those #'s check for spark first and fuel ETC

Comp is good do it again with a fully charged battery and throttle pulled.
2 plugs in when you do the 3rd.
Spark or fuel
I say carbs if theres a spark.

The problem I had with mine was the stator coil went bad, would work then quit work then quit for good. Check for spark if you have good spark check the fuel system. Compression seems fine.

one plug pulled at a time, thottle open, compression check.
its cranking over perfect. I was just cruising along about 3/4 thottle and it just died. then wouldn't restart at all
was acting kinda like it ran outa gas.. but its full.
fuelpump maybe any other sugestions???

that has 3 fuel pumps! it should have some fuel unless your having a blockage issue? try dribbling some fuel into the plug holes the put the plugs in and see if it fires for a second or pull the carb cover ans dribble some fuel ( no primer correct?)
and work the fuel selector back and forth a few times also

You should have an external fuell filter and 3 internal filters.
These motors need carb inspections and rebuilds (if neccessary) often.
I would go through the carbs for sure bad carbs seize motors.
Try fuel in the plug holes if it starts to run you know motor is sound and that your ign timing is good.
Go through the carbs or youl wish you did
