    whats wrong?

    Went wave jumping the other day, went through a wave and engine started sounding like it was running on 1 or 2 cylinders for about 20-30 sec and comes good? its done this once or twice b4 also? ski is standard.
    What could this be

    Your "TOPS" engine management system is kicking in (Tip Over Protection System). Does an alarm sound? If so, you might be low on oil.

    OK, then the TOPS valve is activating because of the extreme angle your ski is at while jumping. This system puts the engine in limp mode until oil pressure is ensured. Attached is a picture of the valve (thanks Billy). Some people have disconnected the plug so it won't activate. That would be a personal choice... but not one of mine.

    thanks 05limited, i think ill keep that on just to be save?
    well thats ok then if its only TOPS coming on....

    used to happen alot a 2004 rxp another 2004 rxp we had wasnt as bad
    is the TOPS as stated.i personnaly wouldnt unplug it but its your ski.
    try not to just at such bad angles is really the only cure.
